You ever wake up in the morning and feel like your low back is all stiff or there's a twinge in the mid back?
It may have to do with the all-night positioning of your rib cage.
The way we use our bodies changes their literal shape and, for many of us, this has resulted in excess curvature of the thoracic spine. This hyperkyphosis is something that needs tending to through exercise and a change in habits. (Don't believe you've got some hunchback happening? Check out this post.)
Until that spine has lost its hyper and is just hanging out with its natural kyphosis, I recommend you consider bolstering up your head and shoulders to better meet yourself where you are. And, importantly, so you can stop waking up with low- or mid-back pain. :)
Let me know how this goes for you!
And, if you're ready to start using your body in the ways that restore whole-body function based on a biomechanical approach to alignment and natural movement, I've got the perfect starting place for you.
Launch Your Resilient Life is my 4-week course that gives you the information you need to know what's happening in your body and then the tools to address it (just like in the video above).
