How do I know if this is right for me?

You're ready for more. Maybe you know this off the bat or maybe you've done an Alignment Starter Session with me or have moved through Essential Resilience I. When you are really ready to step up to the plate, to take greater ownership of your health and wellness, then this is right for you. If you've experienced benefit from my work and want to deepen it or if you're ready to transform your experience of your body, then this is for you. Feeling a little uneasy? Totally normal. :)

What kind of exercises are involved? Will I be spent after a session with you?

The movements we do are simple. That doesn't mean they are easy. The body doesn't like to change when it is being stressed and real change takes awhile to integrate. So yes, you may feel "worked" after a session, but you may just as likely feel totally recuperated and relaxed. The exercises vary depending on your goals and we'll be spending a lot of time looking at your lifestyle, seeing how your daily movement habits support, or don't support the direction you want to go and figuring out how we can change them.

I am not local to Philadelphia. Can I still take advantage of this offer?

Absolutely. I work by Skype, too!

Why 10 sessions?

Sometimes, people just need a bit of a jumpstart and so I recommend Essential Resilience I, which is four sessions. But for others of us, we know we need ongoing support or some serious intensive work to take us where we want to go. If that sounds like you, then I suggest we start here. :)

What happens between sessions?

You move! It will be important for you to keep up with the homework, to monitor your movement habits and to increase the amount of time you walk. Some weeks this will be easier than others because, well, life happens. I get it. But I'll also be there to coach you through it with phone/email/Skype support between sessions.

How frequently do we meet?

It depends on your goals and circumstances. I generally find that my clients do best seeing me every 2-4 weeks.

 

Essential Resilience II Logistics

  • 10 private sessions with me

Ten sessions (the first is usually 75 minutes; the remaining are one hour), either in person or by Skype, allow us to take your whole body alignment to a whole new place. The time between each session will enable you to integrate and practice what you’ve learned.

  • Unlimited 15-minute phone/email/Skype check-ins

You know how it goes. You see your trainer or your therapist or your doctor and they give you homework. But you don’t do it. If something’s been confusing to you, or a new concern has popped up or if you are running into roadblocks, these touchpoints will help you stay on track.

  • Equipment to do the work

It’s always easier to stay focused when you have the tools you need. With this package you will receive the foundational equipment: a foam dome, "monster" band, block and strap.

  • Customized instructions

After each hour-long session, I will send you exercise instructions from your custom workout so that you can continue to be successful at home or on the road.

  • Access to 10 pre-recorded classes

Learning the exercises is really helpful, but having a 30 minute class to take to ensure you do them and mix things up a bit? Oh so very helpful! This is exclusively available to clients who have signed up for Essential Resilience II package to help you go even deeper on your journey.
